System Administrator

Department: Program
Location: Indian Head, MD

Solvere Technical Group is seeking a talented System Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Operates in a multi- user computer environment/local area network installing and configuring system hardware and software, establishing and managing user accounts.
  • Upgrading software; and backup/recovery tasks.
  • Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
  • Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system.
  • Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running.
  • Troubleshooting any reported problems.
  • Process development and refinement.
  • Leading or managing one or more components of the network management process.
  • Effective problem solving.
  • Project milestone development and reporting.
  • Assessing levels of effort for work packages to support changes to software products.
  • Hold current certifications in applicable network technologies and tools.
  • One to seven years of relevant years' experience

Security:

  • Active Secret Clearance is required.
