SOLVERE is seeking a Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) Contractor to assist in ensuring compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and streamlining paperwork processes, identifying areas of improvement, and developing strategies to reduce paperwork burden.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Support all aspects of ITA Paperwork Reduction Act Program.
- Liaison between ITA stakeholders and DOC PRA Officer to create new information collection requests (ICRs) or to extend the existing ICRs before the expiration dates.
- Track and control all ITA ICRs to keep them all up-to-date and active.
- Notify ITA PRA sponsors of their expiring ICRs at least 120 days prior to the expiration date to start the extension process OR to discontinue unnecessary ICRs.
- Review ICR packages received and check on their completeness and accuracy and suggest edits as necessary.
- File ICR packages and associated documentation into the PRA records storage by OMB Control Number.
- Create a new or extension package within ROCIS for submission to OMB.
- Track the Federal Register and file ITA PRA Federal Register Notices (FRNs) for their responsive ICR packages and notify the sponsor promptly of the FRNs.
- Monitor PRA@trade.gov for internal requests or public comments received and respond promptly as appropriate.
- Analyze the nature of incoming PRA requests and suggest the best course of action for OMB clearance in accordance with the statutory requirements, regulations, and the DOC PRA handbook.
- Assist the ITA PRA Program Lead to administer ITA PRA Program.
- Create PRA resources available ITA-wide to aid agencies in PRA requirements, including but not limited to developing guidance videos and SharePoint sites.
- Provide guidance to help the customer experience program and stakeholder of ITA as a High Impact Service Provider to identify and reduce burdens related to applying for and maintaining eligibility for public benefits programs (OMB Memorandum M-22-10).
- Support procedural support to ensure the bureau’s compliance with OMB Circular A-11 Section 280, Managing Customer Experience and Improving Service Delivery.
- Manage PRA essential and historical documents.
- Provide support for ITA Form Program to ensure all forms are up-to-date, compliant, and accessible.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- Strong understanding of the Paperwork Reduction Act and relevant regulations.
- Experience in conducting paperwork assessments and implementing process improvements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience working in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a similar role preferred.
