Records Management Contractor

Department: Program
Location: Wasington, DC

SOLVERE is seeking a Records Management Contractor to assist in organizing and maintaining records in a secure and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have experience with document management systems and be detail-oriented.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Supports records management activities and actions and preparation of management plans and reports.
  • Coordinates schedules to facilitate completion of proposals, contract deliverables, task order review, briefings/presentations, and in-process review preparation.
  • Perform analysis, development, and review of program administrative operating procedures.
  • Coordinate and track document requests following the guidance of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and Federal Records Center (FRC).
  • Coordinate classification reviews as required.
  • Answer customer requests for documents or assistance.
  • Digitize analog records into electronic copies in accordance with the NARA standard.
  • Prepare expired records for destruction.
  • Record receipt and storage including indexing.
  • Perform quality control of box contents.
  • Perform inventory reconciliations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • Proven experience in records management or related field.
  • Familiarity with document management systems and software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Location: Washington, DC

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
